The various native species of trees in this region can have subtle variations, and subsequently can be hard to distinguish. <br/> <br/> Calvert &amp; Co has therefore created a clear identification diagram showing the trees leaf shape, fruit and flower, as well as information about the multitude of wildlife species that often use these trees as their home. One of the Landcare members likened the new sign to the monolith in <i> 2001 A Space Odyssey </i> and so the term 'graphic monolith' has now stuck! <br/> <br/> The sign has been created with the second phase of the project in mind, which may feature a children's nature trail game. These future graphic panels can be positioned further down the sign at a child's eye level.
